Scholarship

  • Nast is committed to provice scholarships to the deserving and needy students not exceeding 10% of total intake.
  • Out of totoal number of scholarships the school devides in multiples heads such as govt.recomended seats, entrance examinations performance, secured HPA in SEE if supported by matching average marks in the entrance and the seats if govt. regulation compels it.
  • All types of scholarship are subject to waive monthly tution fee only.
  • If more than one students of the same feeder parent are studying at NAST, 50% discount in tution fee will begiven to the student who are studying in the lower classes. In cases one students of the senior class is paying full fee except academic scholarship winners, such a scholarship is not accountable in total quota of scholarship.

Scholarship holders are abide by the rules as follows:

  • Any type of scholarship is subject to withdraw if the student violets any disciplinary rule, code of conduct of education ministry or the school careless in study or poor performance in aggregate, remains freuent abscent in theory or practical classes or fails the terminal examinations.
  • Except school or govt. regulations and written directives to the school, annual charges are to be paid even by the all types of scholarships holders.
  • If any one is already enjoying scholarship under any other head, one cannot claim for another.
  • Every class topper(not section topper) each group in annual exams of grade XI with minimum grade 3.6GPA (80% or above 80%) in aggregate will be provided 50% wavier in tution fee (Other all charges payable) in Grade XII. The same will be provided to the other students in case there is tie in marks.
  • If the class topper does not continue her/his study at NAST by any reason, such scholarship is not subject to be replaced by alternative candidate.

Any type of scholarship is subject to withdraw immediately:

  • If the student fails to meet minimum attandance in the classrooms and laboratoratory.
  • If student is abscent in internal assignments, terminal examinations or obtains less than 35% score in theory and less than 40% score in practical / internal examinations,(the scholarship can be contined from next terminal exams if scored more than 38% in aggregate with excellent overall progress.)
  • If one fails the annual examination of grade XI.
